Flawed and Strong 1

Black sheep, trouble, stubborn, lazy, stupid, annoying, skinny, fat, short, tall, ugly, good for nothing… What have you heard said about you that lingers in your thoughts or pops up at the most unexpected times? I want to remind you, this is not who you are! This is not who God created you to be. I thank God for the indomitable will that He has placed in me that has fought through the words that tried to define me. What was considered a flaw, has been the very character trait that has served me well. Every time I’ve been knocked down, I’ve gotten back up, stronger than ever before. When I’ve been broken, I bounce back more determined to win. Because of my “flaws”, I am strong, resilient and filled with faith knowing God can turn any situation around for His glory.

I wonder what’s in you that is considered a “flaw”? I wonder what strength God has put in you to help you to withstand and overcome any obstacle? What is it that others have said about you that they saw as an annoyance, but in reality is a God designed strength that he has dropped in you for his glory? Remember today that you are fearfully and wonderfully made and that God has placed strengths in you that might, at first glance, appear to be a weakness. You are stronger than you thing you are, you are better than you think you are. You are a champion and God made you that way! So, go out and you be you. God thinks your pretty spectacular just the way you are! ‪#‎movelifeforward‬ ‪#‎fight‬ ‪#‎win‬ ‪#‎youarestrong‬ ‪#‎godisable‬

How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
They cannot be numbered!
I can’t even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up,
you are still with me! Psalm 139
