Jesus came so…

He came as a ransom for us. He sacrificed His life for us. He said, take me instead of them. Set them free. I’ll take all of the blame for everything they did. And He came, and He gave so that you and I can live. If we really ever grasp what Jesus did for us then there would be nothing we would not do for Him. Today as you go to church, consider going to give rather than to get. Give God all your praise – full on, arms raised and singing at the top of your lungs. Connect and serve others as they come to church for the first time and celebrate with wild excitement when people give their lives to Jesus! Today is going to be a great day in the house of the Lord!

By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that’s not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.Romans 5:1-2

If death got the upper hand through one man’s wrongdoing, can you imagine the breathtaking recovery life makes, sovereign life, in those who grasp with both hands this wildly extravagant life-gift, this grand setting-everything-right, that the one man Jesus Christ provides? Romans 5:17

Grace, because God is putting everything together again through the Messiah, invites us into life—a life that goes on and on and on, world without end. Romans 5:21

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28 NIV)
