“Beloved, God has seen you trying your best to love Him. And because He loves you, He wants you to sit down and be still, and let Him love you instead. He wants to love you with all that He is and all that He has. He loves you unconditionally regardless of who you are or what you have done because His love is not dependent on you but on Himself. He will never stop loving you.” Joseph Prince

In the crazy business of life, In the rush and relentless pursuit of self fulfillment, can you lay your head down to rest and say…it is well?

Is all well with your soul?

God knows that sometimes it just isn’t! There are times when life really does seem to be spinning out of control and it’s all you can do to keep it together. In these moments – is all well with your soul?

I have been in that place… That place when I realize that my soul is so tired and I am utterly running on fumes with no reserves in my tank to keep me going. When this happens, our minds, thought process, and emotions all fire on instant reaction and that’s never a good place to operate from. We’ve all heard that phrase before, “I’m barely hanging on by a thread.” and right now that may be where you are. So…

Is all well with your soul?

The one thing I know is Jesus… Jesus came to bear the weight of it all. Anchor yourself to the one who saved you. Your life line is there in Him. When everything seems so cluttered and you feel you have no one to tell, or to share with, or yell at, and you’re afraid.. take a deep breath, cry if you need to, fight off the heaviness and pray. Run to Jesus, the anchor, the hope, the rest, the salvation of your soul and lover of your life and lay it all down before Him.

God says…I love you. In the stillness, in the rest, in the silence, in the stopping of everything for a time of reflection, God says…I love you. It is God’s greatest desire that we know how very much He loves us.

This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 1 John 4:10

So let God love you today. Don’t worry about loving Him. The more of His love you receive, the more you will fall in love with Him!

Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Hebrews 6:18-19
